In reflection...

I found it interesting that some took the work to be humorous while others saw it more darkly. – Terry Barrett

I repeatedly and unconsciously (at first) described using gender. I said, "He has drawn lines coming out from a circle shape denoting a mouth." I described the character receiving the yelling as a "she." I felt troubled by that. Susan Michael Barrett

After reading what Andi and Melissa wrote, I saw the drawing from a new perspective. I can see their views of the drawing. (Two characters having fun in an imaginary and playful way "with no complaint" and the toll of being blasted flat with "positive," not just negative energy.) I realized that when I get caught in my viewpoint. That leaves me with a tiny view of life and experiences. – Susan Michael Barrett
