In reflection...
I am aware that in the past I focused more on the title of this sculpture and less on the object. This time I looked at the ladder with more attention and saw with more stunning clarity aspects that emphasize an impossibility to climb it, which increases my curiosity and questions, such as the artist's choice of naming it "A Ladder for Booker T. Washington's Ladder" rather than "Booker T. Washington's Ladder." - anonymous
When I read others' thoughts and feelings about the sculpture, I wanted to hear more. I realize that doing Talk + Listen slows my pace when seeing and listening from another's point of view. - Susan Michael Barrett
